FGT Citygate Description: Incorporates deliveries into the state of Florida via Florida Gas Transmission. More specifically, this index is comprised of all deliveries into FGT's Market Zone east of the terminus of Zone 3 in Santa Rosa County, FL. This index does not include any transactions in the Western Division, nor deliveries to Florida from Gulfstream Natural Gas System or Southern Natural.

  • What do these prices represent?

    Bidweek prices represent the wholesale, spot price of natural gas at various trading locations in the U.S. and Canada. Bidweek prices are the result of trading done on the last five business days of the month for gas to be delivered on each day of the coming month. These prices include both deals done on the Intercontinental Exchange, as well as those reported directly to NGI. Prices are expressed in $U.S. per MMBtu with the exception of Canadian locations which are published in CDN$/Gj. To learn more about Daily GPI prices, check out our Price Index Methodology.
