El Paso San Juan Description: Our El Paso Non-Bondad index incorporates deliveries into the Blanco, Bondad and Rio Vista pools of the region El Paso calls the San Juan Basin. These areas lie primarily within San Juan and McKinley Counties in New Mexico. More specifically, our index includes deals done just south of the Bondad Compressor Station at the Colorado/New Mexico border to the Window Rock Station at the Arizona/New Mexico border. We also include the small lateral between the Valve City and the Bluewater Station. NOTE: We changed the name of this index from El Paso Non-Bondad to El Paso San Juan on November 1, 2018, but our point description did not change at that time.

  • What do these prices represent?

    Bidweek prices represent the wholesale, spot price of natural gas at various trading locations in the U.S. and Canada. Bidweek prices are the result of trading done on the last five business days of the month for gas to be delivered on each day of the coming month. These prices include both deals done on the Intercontinental Exchange, as well as those reported directly to NGI. Prices are expressed in $U.S. per MMBtu with the exception of Canadian locations which are published in CDN$/Gj. To learn more about Daily GPI prices, check out our Price Index Methodology.
